Maddie & Ben :: Engaged

I was literally dying going through of the amazing pictures from this engagement session. Maddie and Ben are two very very dear friends of mine. Their love is truly beautiful (as evident in all of these pictures). I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding this October! Maddie is one of those people that has had every last detail of her wedding planned for years.. We would gush over other couples and talk of our dreams of finding “the one.” Little did she know one of my great friends, Ben, was just that guy. Their love for books, laughter, and all things dorky never fails to make me smile. I cannot wait for a lifetime full of double dates and laughs with you two, and I couldn’t be happier for y’all.

Endings and Beginnings

This is my first blog post with hopefully more to follow in 2013. While I’m able to show some love to my facebook page quite often, making my way over to this blog always seemed a little harder. So for 2013 I hope to share with you some of my favorite weddings and sessions from 2012 as well as keep you updated with my current work. In the past year or two, there have been several weddings that the lovely Spindle Photography has been nice enough to let me second shoot for. These opportunities have taught me SO much and I’m excited now to finally have the chance to share them. Kelly catches every detail of the day and shooting with her has helped me be aware of so much more all throughout the wedding day.

For now though, I will post a one-year anniversary session of some of my favorite people. I met Shawna this year through a bible study a few “young adults” and I decided we wanted to do this fall. While we didn’t meet every week, it was still a good time to unwind and bond with some amazing girls- like Shawna. She asked me to do some winter anniversary pictures of her and her husband, and I couldn’t have been more honored. Shawna is beautiful inside and out and her husband has a heart of gold as well:)Enjoy!
